What's new
Additions and changes to the API and the console. Breaking changes are announced here before they ship.
- Developer portal on its own home, developers.pdftrusted.com, with a console for keys, usage, billing and settings.
- Paid API plans from 10,000 credits a month ($10), billed monthly or yearly. Credits are spent only by successful jobs.
- Extra live keys (sk_live_) per app, and free test keys (sk_test_) for a sandbox that never touches your quota.
- GET /v1/me/jobs: your recent API jobs, totals per day and per tool. The console's Usage page and CSV export use it.
- Daily job limits on API plans now grow with the plan size, so large plans can spend their credits.
- Keys: see, rotate (new secret, same allowance) and turn off your key.
- Signed webhooks (task.completed, task.failed) instead of polling.
- GET /v1/tools/{tool} shows the caps per plan.
- Every answer has X-Request-Id; 429 and 503 have Retry-After; X-RateLimit-* headers on task creation and usage.
- Authorization: Bearer sk_... works as well as X-API-Key.
- Task create, upload, async process, download and delete documented.
- Sign-in shared with pdftrusted.com.
