API terms
These terms cover the PDFTrusted API (api.pdftrusted.com) and this developer portal. The operator is Shashank Pandey, Shashank Pandey, Sole proprietor (individual, not a registered company), India, an individual sole proprietor, not a registered company. Contact support@pdftrusted.com. The pdftrusted.com website has its own terms.
Accounts and keys. You need an account. Keep keys secret and call the API from your server, not from browser or app code. You are responsible for calls made with your keys. We may turn off a key we believe is exposed and will tell you.
Plans. The free plan has the monthly job limit shown on the pricing page. A paid API plan gives a number of credits each billing month; each successful job uses the credits listed for its tool. Credits reset at each renewal and do not roll over. A failed job does not use credits. Test keys are a free sandbox with their own limits.
Billing. Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy as Merchant of Record. They charge you, handle tax and send the receipt. Plans renew automatically each month or year until cancelled. Cancel any time from the console; the plan stays active to the end of the period you paid for. To change plan size, write to us.
Prices. Prices are shown before you pay. A price change for an existing plan applies only from a later renewal, and we tell you by email first.
Your files. You keep all rights to files you send. You give us only the permission needed to process them and return the result. We don't sell them or use them to train models.
Task records are removed after 2 hours. Stored copies of inputs and results are removed within 1 hour of the job. An upload that is never processed expires after 1 hour. DELETE /v1/tasks/{id} removes them at once.
Fair use. We may suspend access that breaks the acceptable use rules, or that puts the service at risk for other customers. If we end the service for reasons other than a breach, we refund the unused part of a paid period.
Liability. The API is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Material changes to these terms are announced by email and on this page.
