PDF tools that run in your browser on a phone, tablet, or computer. You do not install an app. Basic tools work without an account.
OpenNo for basic tools. You need an account for History (results are kept for 1 hour), the Pro trial, Pro itself, and requesting signatures.
OpenFree has daily limits. Tool pages do not show ads, and we do not stamp a watermark on your file. Pro raises the limits.
OpenA current browser on a phone, tablet, or computer. There is no separate app to install.
Eighteen: English, Spanish, Hindi, German, French, Arabic, Portuguese, Italian, Indonesian, Dutch, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Turkish, Polish, Vietnamese, and Thai.
Use the search box on this page, or open All tools. Each tool page links back here with that tool selected.
OpenReading, annotating, and some image or text tools stay in your browser. Free merge, split, rotate, organize, extract, delete pages, protect, unlock, watermark, page numbers, and compress also run in your browser. On Pro, a large job is sent to our server, and every Pro compress is. Repair tries the browser first. OCR, Office conversion, translate, redact, and flatten always use the server. The tool page says which path you are on before you start.
OpenTask records are kept for 2 hours. Stored copies are removed within 1 hour. Signed-in History keeps results for 1 hour. An upload that is not processed expires after 1 hour.
OpenWe do not sell files or keep a library of them. AI tools send the document text to an AI provider to make the answer. We do not promise that every provider refuses to train on that text.
OpenSign-in and the database use Supabase. File storage uses Cloudflare R2. Payments use Lemon Squeezy. AI text goes to DeepSeek, and to OpenRouter when that fallback is used. Optional sign-in can use Google, Facebook, or Dropbox.
OpenIn the browser it stays in the open tab's memory. On our server it stays in memory only while the job runs. It is not written to disk, and it is dropped when the job finishes.
Form values and signature images are dropped from the server task when the job finishes. A saved auto-fill profile stays in your browser, not on our servers.
Finding fields and filling them from your profile follows fixed rules. No AI is used for that. An optional AI suggestion is off. Fields for other people, and signature fields, are never filled for you.
OpenOnly people with the link can open it. You choose 1, 7, or 30 days, and you can turn downloads off or revoke the link. Embeds last 7 days on Free and 30 or 90 days on Pro.
OpenYes. Protect PDF adds a password to a copy. Send the password in a different channel from the file.
OpenNo. Unlock needs the correct password. We do not crack passwords. Ask the person who sent the file.
OpenOn server tools, a guest gets 3 jobs a day and files up to 25 MB. A signed-in Free account gets 10 jobs a day and files up to 50 MB. A shared network is also capped at 20 guest jobs a day.
OpenEvery day at 00:00 UTC, which is 4:00 in the morning in Dubai. The message on screen shows the local time your allowance returns.
A heavier server job: OCR, Office conversion, PDF to Word, Excel or PowerPoint, redaction, PDF/A, and AI. Standard AI costs 1 use. Advanced AI costs 2. Free includes 3 advanced uses a day.
Each tool has its own cap. PDF to Word allows 50 pages for a guest. Merge allows 20 files for a guest, 50 on signed-in Free, and 100 on Pro. Split the file, or use Pro for up to 200 pages on the larger jobs.
A server job that fails is not counted by the processing server. If the file is damaged, password-locked, or an unsupported type, an everyday use can be returned up to 3 times a day when the server signs a receipt. A failure that never leaves your browser is not returned that way.
OpenGuests are counted per browser, with a backstop of 20 guest jobs per network, so one person cannot open many browsers to skip the limit. Signing in gives you your own count.
No. Limits are counted on our servers, by account, browser, and network. Clearing site data does not start the day over.
Pro includes 500 jobs a day, 3 jobs at once, and files up to 200 MB on page tools. OCR, convert, and AI jobs go up to 200 pages. Storage is 1 GB (300 files), and requesting signatures is included.
OpenYes. Teams can build a Custom plan on the pricing page: pick seats, AI credits, server jobs, OCR pages and storage, and the price is shown before you pay (20% off yearly). For 50+ seats or more than $500 a month, contact us about Enterprise.
OpenLimits keep the free tool fast for everyone and stop automated abuse. Bots, scrapers, and bypassing limits break the Terms.
OpenYes. Pro includes a 7-day trial on monthly and yearly plans. You add a payment method at checkout. Cancel anytime within 7 days of starting a trial, and you are not charged.
Open5.99 US dollars a month, or 49 US dollars a year. Tax is added by the payment provider for your country.
OpenGo to Account, then Your plan, then Cancel. Cancel anytime within 7 days of starting a trial, and you are not charged. You keep trial access until the trial would have ended. We also email you 3 days before it ends.
OpenNo. One free trial per person. If a new account, browser, or network matches an earlier trial, checkout charges straight away instead of starting another trial.
Account, then Your plan, then Cancel. There is no fee. Pro stays on until the end of the period you already paid for, then the account returns to Free. Cancelling stops the next renewal. No refunds after payment. Cancel anytime within 7 days of starting a trial, and you are not charged. After a payment, we refund it only in these three cases. 1. The same plan was charged twice by accident. We refund the extra charge. 2. The site or a Pro feature was not working because of a fault on our side, and we can confirm that. We refund that payment. 3. You ask within 48 hours of the payment, and you have not used Pro since that payment. This case can be used once per account in any 12 months. Using Pro means a finished Pro job, a signature request you send, or a file you save to Storage after that payment. Signing in, opening a page, or downloading an invoice is not use. The 48 hours start at the payment time. Statutory consumer rights, where a mandatory law applies, are not affected. A chargeback, or a refund request made to get around these rules, suspends the account. Write to support@pdftrusted.com with the invoice number.
OpenStorage files stay for 14 days after Pro ends, then they are deleted. Restart Pro before then to keep them.
OpenUpdate your card from Account, then Billing. Pro stays on for 7 days from the first failed payment while the charge is retried. After that the account returns to Free until the payment succeeds.
OpenAccount, then Invoices, lists every payment as a PDF. The invoice uses the details from checkout. For a past invoice, email us with its number.
OpenYes, in Account, then Your plan. Switching to yearly bills the difference right away. Switching to monthly credits unused time to later invoices. A trial keeps running when you switch.
OpenYou can create a team and invite people by email. The owner can remove a member. Seats are not charged. If the owner is on Pro, members use Pro limits. Each person still has their own usage count.
OpenNo. Sharing an account breaks the Terms, and we may suspend accounts that are shared. Each person keeps their own daily limit and their own trial.
OpenNot as one bill today. Each person subscribes on their own account. If one account is not enough, email us.
OpenNo. Website Pro is the paid plan for the website. The API is a free trial for now: sign in, no card, and no paid API billing yet. Paid API plans are coming. A website Pro plan does not start that trial.
OpenTask records are kept for 2 hours. Stored copies are removed within 1 hour. Signed-in History keeps results for 1 hour. An upload that is not processed expires after 1 hour. We do not sell files. For files with other people's personal data, check your own policy first. A data processing page is at /dpa.
OpenWait a few minutes and check Spam. Then use Forgot password on the login page, or sign in with Google, Facebook, or Dropbox.
OpenAccount, then Settings, then Delete account, and type DELETE to confirm. Sign-in stops at once. The account and Storage are permanently deleted after 7 days. A renewing Pro plan is cancelled first.
OpenSign in within 7 days and choose Keep my account. If deletion had cancelled Pro, the plan is turned back on.
OpenYes. Use the export on the same settings page. Free can export once a day, and Pro can export 5 times a day. The export stays available during the 7-day window.
OpenEmail support@pdftrusted.com with the subject Data deletion request. We ask only for what proves the account is yours, then confirm when deletion is scheduled and when it is done.
OpenWhen you are signed in, results are kept in History for 1 hour, up to 20 items, so you can download them again. Guests get the download only.
OpenPro only: 1 GB, up to 300 files, in your account. On Free, results download to your device.
OpenRun Repair PDF first, then try again. If the file opens nowhere else, ask the sender for a new copy.
OpenEnter the password when asked, or use Unlock PDF first. Some tools can put the same password back on the result.
OpenCheck that the file is really a PDF, or the format the tool lists, and that the download finished.
Text-only PDFs are already small. Scans shrink the most. Keep your original, because compression cannot be undone.
OpenCompress, then use Split by size to make parts under the size you need.
OpenScans need OCR first. Choose the document language. A complex layout may convert better to Excel than to Word.
OpenYour allowance returns at the time shown on screen (the day resets at 00:00 UTC). The file you picked stays chosen. Sign in for your own count, or see Pro.
OpenWait for a running job to finish. Free runs 2 at a time. Pro runs 3.
The server is briefly full. Retry in a minute. Nothing was charged for that attempt. Check the status page if it continues.
OpenResults are kept for 1 hour. If you were signed in, open History within that hour. A missing download means the file expired: run the tool again.
OpenRequesting signatures is a Pro feature: up to 20 recipients, 200 pages, and 25 MB. The signing link lasts 3 to 60 days, 14 by default. After completion the signed copy is kept 30 days unless you choose another time, up to 90 days. Download the signed copy. You can delete it immediately.
OpenYes. Sign in on the developer site to start a free trial and create a key. No card, and there is no paid API billing yet. Paid plans are coming.
OpenEmail support@pdftrusted.com, or use the contact form. Include the tool, your browser, what happened, and the job ID shown with the error. For billing, write from the account email and include the invoice number.
OpenOnly if it is yours to share and we ask for it. The job ID, the file size, and the exact message are usually enough.
OpenWhich tools run in your browser, which need a secure server step, and how long temporary job files exist.
Guest files up to 25 MB and signed-in Free files up to 50 MB, why compression sometimes hardly helps, and the split-then-compress route.
Guests get 3 server jobs a day. Signed-in Free gets 10. Advanced uses are a separate bucket of 3.
