Pages end up in the wrong order all the time. A double-sided scan puts every back page at the end, a report gets assembled with the appendix before the summary, or a photographed form comes out in reverse. Rearrange PDF shows every page as a thumbnail you can drag to a new spot, with a finger on your phone or the mouse on a computer. While you are there, rotate a sideways page, delete one that does not belong, or duplicate a page you need twice, such as a cover sheet. Changes appear instantly, and nothing is saved until you select Save order. Everyday jobs run in your browser on your device. A large Pro file is sent to our server, and the saved PDF has no watermark.

Rearrange PDF FAQ

Is Rearrange PDF free?

Yes. Reordering pages is included in your free daily uses for PDFs up to 100 MB and 100 pages. The saved file has no watermark, and there are no ads while you work. Pro gives you extra room for long reports and big scanned documents.

Is my PDF private when I rearrange it?

Yes. On the free plan, pages are reordered in your browser, on your own device, and the PDF is not uploaded to our servers. For Pro users, very large files may be handled by secure cloud processing, and those temporary files are deleted automatically after saving.

Will moving pages change how they look?

No. Each page is moved as it is, with the same text, images, and layout. Only the order changes, plus any rotation you choose. The result looks the same as the original, just in the sequence you want, whether you read it on screen or print it.

How do I fix the page order of a double-sided scan?

Open the scan and drag each back page next to its front page, working from the start of the document. The position numbers on the thumbnails update as you go, so it is easy to keep track. Rotate any back pages that came out upside down, then select Save order.

Can I rearrange PDF pages on my phone?

Yes. On iPhone and Android, pages appear as a list with small previews and a grip handle on each row. Hold the handle and slide the page up or down to move it. On a Mac or Windows computer, you get a larger thumbnail grid instead. No app is needed, just a modern browser.

How many pages can I rearrange?

Free works with PDFs up to 100 MB and 100 pages, which fits most reports, applications, and scanned packs. Pro opens files up to 100 MB and 200 pages. In a long document, the list scrolls along while you drag, so a page can travel from the end to the very start.

What if I move a page to the wrong place?

Simply drag it again. Nothing is written to your file until you select Save order, so you can try different arrangements freely. To begin again, the start-over button clears the workspace, and your original PDF stays unchanged on your device, ready to reopen.

What if my pages are spread across several PDFs?

Use Merge PDF instead. It combines several PDFs and photos into one document and lets you drag pages from all of them into a single order, with the same rotate and delete controls. Once merged, you can still fine-tune the file here or send it through Compress PDF.
