Scanners and phone cameras are not always sure which way is up. You end up with a receipt lying on its side, a landscape table that reads sideways, or a whole signed contract scanned upside down. Rotate PDF fixes it in a few taps. Tap the rotate button on any page to turn it clockwise, a quarter turn at a time, or use Left and Right to turn every page at once. Thumbnails update right away, and a counter shows how many pages you have changed. When you save, the new orientation is stored in the file, so it opens correctly on every device and prints the right way. Pages are turned rather than redrawn. Everyday jobs run in your browser on your device. A large Pro file is sent to our server.

- 4Select Apply rotation and download your PDF with every page facing the right way.

Rotate PDF FAQ
Is Rotate PDF free?
Yes. Rotating pages is included in your free daily uses for PDFs up to 100 MB and 150 pages. You save the corrected file with no watermark, and there are no ads on the page. Pro offers more capacity if you work with large scanned archives every day.
Is it safe to rotate my PDF here?
Yes. For free users, rotation happens in your browser, on your own device, so your PDF is not uploaded to our servers. For Pro users, very large files can be rotated with secure cloud processing, and those temporary files are removed automatically afterward.
Does rotating a PDF reduce its quality?
No. Rotation changes the direction a page is displayed in without redrawing its contents, so text, signatures, and images keep their original sharpness. Text you could select or search before stays selectable and searchable after rotating, and the file size stays about the same.
How do I rotate just one page in a PDF?
Find the page in the thumbnails and tap its rotate button. Each tap turns it 90° clockwise, so tap twice to flip an upside-down page, or three times to turn it a quarter to the left. The other pages stay exactly as they were. Then select Apply rotation to save.
Can I rotate a PDF on my iPhone or Mac?
Yes. Open this page in Safari, Chrome, or another modern browser on iPhone, iPad, Android, Mac, or Windows. On a phone, pages appear in a list with a rotate button next to each one. The saved PDF keeps its new orientation in any app you open it with.
How many pages can I rotate at once?
Free handles PDFs up to 100 MB and 150 pages, and the Left and Right buttons turn every page in one tap. Pro opens files up to 100 MB and 200 pages, which suits long scanned books and archives. Within that, you can rotate as many pages as you want.
What if only some pages are meant to be landscape?
Leave those pages alone and rotate only the ones that are wrong. Each page keeps its own direction, so a report can mix portrait text pages with landscape charts. The counter in the side panel shows how many pages you changed, so you can confirm before you save.
Can I also change the page order or remove pages?
Yes. Rearrange PDF lets you drag pages into a new order and rotate them in the same step. If a scan also has blank or unwanted pages, Remove Pages takes them out, and Compress PDF makes the finished file lighter for email or an upload portal.
