Most paperwork arrives in pieces: a signed contract in one file, ID scans in another, receipts as phone photos, a letter still sitting in Word. Merge PDF puts it all into one document you can send as a single attachment or upload where only one file is allowed. Add PDFs and photos, up to 40. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint can join the same packet: each one is turned into pages first, then you order them with the rest. Switch to Pages and drag a single page into place, rotate a sideways scan, drop a page you do not need, duplicate one, or insert a blank page between sections. Photos sit on a standard A4 page. Everyday PDF and photo merges run in your browser, on your own device. A very large Pro merge can finish on our side, and that temporary copy is removed within 1 hour. The download has no watermark, the page has no ads, and you do not need an account to start.

- 3Tap the plus button to add more files or insert a blank page wherever you want a clean break between sections.
- 4Select Merge PDF and download one combined file, ready to email, print, or upload.

Merge PDF questions and answers
Is Merge PDF free to use?
Yes. Merging is part of your free daily uses and covers jobs up to 100 MB and 75 pages in total. You get a clean PDF with no watermark, and there are no ads on the page. If you combine large reports or long scan packs often, Pro raises the limits for bigger jobs.
Are my files private when I merge them here?
PDFs and photos in an everyday merge stay in your browser, on your own device. A Word, Excel, or PowerPoint file is converted on our side first, then those pages join the same list. A very large Pro merge can also finish on our side, and those temporary files are removed within 1 hour.
Do my pages stay the same after I merge them?
Pages from a PDF are copied into the new file as they already are, so the text you could select stays selectable and the layout stays put. Photos are placed on an A4 page, clear enough to read on a screen, print at home, or upload with a form. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files are turned into pages first, then they join that same order.
How do I merge JPG photos and PDFs into one file?
Add your PDFs and images together. Each JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, or BMP image becomes its own page, fitted on an A4 sheet in portrait or landscape to match the photo. HEIC photos from an iPhone work in Safari. Then drag everything into order and merge. It is a quick way to turn receipts or ID photos into one PDF.
Can I merge PDFs on iPhone, Android, or Mac?
Yes. Open this page in Safari, Chrome, or any modern browser and add files from your Files app, photo library, or downloads. On a phone, pages show as an easy list you can drag with your finger. On a computer, you get a thumbnail grid. There is no app to install.
How many files and pages can I merge at once?
You can add up to 40 files in one merge. Free covers everyday jobs up to 100 MB and 75 pages in total, which fits most contracts, applications, and receipt bundles. Pro takes larger jobs of up to 100 MB and 200 pages, handy for long reports and big scan packs.
What if one of my PDFs is password-protected?
Unlock it first with Unlock PDF, using the password you already have, then add the unlocked file here. That way every page stays readable in the merged document. If the combined file needs protecting again, add a fresh password with Protect PDF once the merge is finished.
What can I do if the merged PDF is too large to send?
Run it through Compress PDF to shrink the file for email, WhatsApp, or portal upload limits. If a portal prefers separate parts instead, Split PDF by Size breaks the document into smaller files you can attach one by one. Both follow the same path as merging: in your browser on Free, and on our server for a large Pro job.
